the certifying board for dietary managers® (cbdm®) is the credentialing agency responsible for establishing and upholding policies for and the administration of the cdm, cfpp certification program. cdm, cfpps work together with registered dietitian nutritionists (rdn) to provide quality nutritional care in a variety of non-commercial settings and perform a myriad of specialized tasks and roles within a foodservice operation. they are responsible for implementation of menus, foodservice purchasing, and food preparation. you may start by completing an anfp-approved dietary manager training program. you may qualify through a combination of training and experience. or, you may qualify through your related military training.
after your application has been reviewed and approved by cbdm, you will receive information on how to register for the exam. we invite you to review detailed information and download an the cdm credentialing exam candidate handbook and application.
