i have a few things coming up in the next six months including getting married and joining the military that i need to be in top shape for. is it going to get me where i want to be when i give it my best effort (strength, endurance, low bf%, muscularity)? to address some of your concerns… jeff is a sales man and a damn good one but he knows his stuff (look at the guy! if you’re serious about getting fitter and stronger then you need to learn about proper nutrition tailored specifically to you (i recommend the book burn the fat, feed the muscle if you’re starting out). jefff’s programme is aimed at getting you the body/abilities of a sports person (muscle and conditioning), not a huge body builder who might look good on stage, but that’s it. another thing with ax-1 is is aimed at people working out at home but when you buy it and get into the portal he shows you how to substitute some exercises for either home or gym, always look out for this as it makes a huge difference to your results.
i did find some of the workouts a bit short but you can always add a bit of cardio or something if you feel up to it on the day. otherwise be honest and start with ax-1, it’s no walk in the park and is a brilliant foundation to start with. basically, you just need a bench, a set of dumbbells, a band (i strongly recommend getting a good band set that uses carabiners and is stackable – you can get a set for ~25 on amazon) and a pull-up bar. i had considered it, but i don’t ship for a few more months and special tactix is only a month long program. but you have to be willing to push yourself to failure, use the proper tempo/cadence for reps, and exhaust yourself during every workout. i don’t have team to eat like 5 meals a day lol, but willing to if it works
