i ended up having to do the exercises one at a time. it’s also become my go to workout if i don’t have a lot of time to do a workout and i want a full body workout. the volume and frequency is perfect for me. i really enjoyed the power days, and the first and last phases of the program. i also like the incorporation of explosive and isometric work as it gave me new things to try. personally got to challenge: operation: monster mayhem with kc mitchellsaw what needs to be done, f my life, reset the program and went from day one. it is very much different then ax-1 in sence you have a lot more heavy lifting.tbh i could not do it if not for ax-1 before beast.
haven’t really followed the diet plan but i have eaten better and more since starting it. the supersets are so much grip intensive that i found them hard to finish and i lost a lot of my form trying to. the plan is to just continually go up a level as i finish each level (3 months, so 9 months total). i can see that on the total beast, the workouts may get a bit longer and i’m going to have to find the time to make that work. i think it would be ideal to have a dynamic warm up that matched the movements for the workout of the day and the static stretches or cool down matched that workout as well. i am a hardgainer and i tend to do a lot of other things like jog, surf, swim, yoga, etc, but this program is a perfect base core of my fitness that the other things can just supplement off of this. i was probably actually doing too many workout days and not allowing my body to rest enough.
