people often ask me to compare my energy healing modalities such as reiki healing energy, integrated energy therapy (iet), thetahealing, subtle aromatherapy, and shamanic practices. by far, reiki and iet are the most well-known. like most types of energy healing modalities, reiki and iet both involve the channeling of universal life-force energy through the practitioner who acts as a hollow bone or clear channel. either modality can address a wide range of physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic issues. from the client’s perspective, there’s one obvious difference between reiki and iet energy healing modalities. in contrast, iet calls for the practitioner to gently press on fourteen points on the body where people hold certain emotional and mental patterns, e.g., resentment, anger, fear, etc. of course, the energy and overall healing feel a little different as well.
