marcus and millichap reputation

i’m looking at a potential role with marcus and millichap. is this a brokerage that you’d suggest for an entry level broker learning the ropes. they don’t have much support for their junior employees as they don’t view them as investments, but the ones that do last a few years are seen as having made it. this is the impression i always got too. m&m at least in my city seems to have different names all the time, and not because they switch to other brokerages. m&m seems to have a take anyone and you are basically working in a call center until you get established approach that i’d not say is common in this industry though. just speaking from some friends i have that work for brokerages like that, they tend to operate on longer term plans too and business strategies per agent that get more complex than “call this many people, get a listing, and sell it in 12 months or you are out”. i currently work as a tenant rep broker for one of the other firms that you mentioned in an earlier reply and i also interned at marcus.

to echo other comments, yes, m&m is a bit of a chop shop. i have a buddy that started his career there and is doing well after 3 years. everyone has to put $20 in the pot in the morning and whoever makes the most dials wins. the guy i sat next to would play tetris while making dials. if you decide to do it, make sure to get aligned with a senior broker/mentor. i actually started in property management just so i could get a foot in the door, meet with all the brokers, and wait for one of them to start looking for a junior broker. do not just join a firm and become a broker. this is how you will learn the business, otherwise you will be churned out…especially at a firm like m&m that offers little to no resources for their brokers.

commercial real estate is not an easy business, but marcus and millichap has one of the best training programs of all the brokerages available to an agent in nyc. everyone works very hard at marcus and millichap. great atmosphere, everyone is motivated to be successful and always ready to help. i worked at marcus & millichap full-time for more than a year. pros. they give you some tools that are useful. cons. since marcus & millichap is known to be competent at representing both the seller and the principle (correct me if i’m wrong), why is it not considered, marcus and millichap reputation site www wallstreetoasis com prmd niv, marcus and millichap reputation site www wallstreetoasis com prmd niv, marcus and millichap reputation site:www.reddit.com&prmd=niv, marcus and millichap salary, working at marcus and millichap reddit.

this is just heresay, but from what i’ve heard their reputation is “churn and burn” for junior brokers. not saying don’t do it, marcus & millichap’s reputation can be viewed two fold: marcus & millichap employees giving a 68/100 and marcus since 1971, marcus & millichap real estate investment services has been the premier provider of investment real, marcus and millichap cold calling, marcus and millichap customer reviews, marcus and millichap training manual pdf, marcus and millichap reviews, marcus and millichap background check, marcus and millichap legal
